Privacy policy

MCA Seed Academy attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This page explains what data we collect on mcaseed.com, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

Data you provide

When you fill in a form (contact, audit request, registration for a training course or the newsletter), we collect the information you enter: first and last name, company, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your message.

Browsing data

When you visit the site, certain technical information is recorded automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of the visit, referring website.

Cookies

The site uses cookies, some of them only with your consent. They are described in our cookie policy.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer your requests and contact you.
  • To prepare and deliver our services: audits, consulting and training.
  • To manage invoicing and customer relations.
  • To send you our newsletter, if you have subscribed.
  • To measure site traffic and improve its content, with your consent.
  • To ensure the security and proper functioning of the site.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

We process your data on the basis of your consent (newsletter, audience measurement cookies), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (quote requests, services), our legitimate interest (site security and improvement) or a legal obligation (retention of accounting records).

5. Third-party services

To measure traffic and optimise the site, we use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Audience measurement tools are only activated after you have given your consent via our cookie banner.

The site is hosted by a specialised provider that processes the technical data required for it to operate.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We never sell, exchange or rent your personal data. It may only be disclosed:

  • to companies of the MCA Concept group, where necessary to process your request;
  • to our service providers (hosting, e-mail, IT tools), who are bound by confidentiality and act on our instructions;
  • to the authorities, where required by law.

7. Transfers abroad

Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the United States. These transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards, such as the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Retention period

  • Contact requests: up to 2 years after our last exchange.
  • Contractual and accounting data: 10 years, in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Audience measurement data: according to the tool’s retention settings, 14 months at most.

9. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access limited to those who need it, regular backups and security updates.

10. Your rights

At any time, you may:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • object to its processing or withdraw your consent;
  • request that it be handed over or transferred in a common format.

11. Newsletter and unsubscribing

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your e-mail address to send you our news, training courses and events. Every e-mail contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us at any time.

12. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The current version is always published on this page, with its update date.
